Wynn Resort Takes Shape on Al Marjan Island

Construction of the highly anticipated resort on Al Marjan Island in Ras Al Khaimah is progressing rapidly. The resort, slated to open in 2027, is located a short drive from Dubai International Airport.

Construction Update

Recent reports indicate significant progress on the project. The main resort tower has reached the 34th floor, with elevator cores extending even higher. The construction team is reportedly completing approximately one floor per week, aiming to top off the structure by the end of the year. In a recent period, the tower’s height increased substantially.

The expansive resort will feature a substantial number of rooms and suites, including exclusive private villas. Plans also include a large shopping area, a luxury spa, and a sizable meetings and events center. The project represents a significant investment in the region.

UAE Gaming Regulation

The UAE has established a regulatory body to oversee commercial gaming activities, including lotteries, online gaming, sports wagering, and land-based resorts. This authority is responsible for regulating, licensing, and supervising all commercial gaming activities within the country.

Any commercial gaming activity conducted without a license is illegal, and those involved, including players, will face penalties.
